All those parts are still easily found and could be bought now to stock up for the future when they are no longer available. It would be a lot cheaper then a new groupo which will in the end wear out and need replacement parts too.

A great bike there.

My mate has got a modern ti/carbon with modern Super Record. An unbelievable gift from an old boss

It's a beautiful bike.

My Sintesi with several changes...

Swapped the tubulars for Veloflex clinchers, C-Record aluminum seat post and added some Time pedals...I'm considering changing the headset to a silver Chris King I have spare as I want to ride the crap out of this thing and haven't had much luck with Campagnolo headsets over the last few years...also considering a pair of King Iris cages?

The tyres are just training wheels, I have tubulars on the original wheels which I'm re-glueing atm ...interesting because another forum really likes them? Pedals...I have them in grey colour too...

Fair call
After I originally posted that I found hidden in among all my parts, my favourite pedals ever, a pair of 646 LMS Mavic with their bright yellow and black plastic bodies now waiting on a bearing refit!

Pity in a way as they are design classic imo but yours will hold a bidon tighter. I also have the Elite SS Ciussi on one older steel bike but they have both broken where the ss tube joins near the bottom bidon bolt. I've had to re weld them, now good for another 25 years. I bought a lot of King SS cages in the traditional design for all my other bikes when the Aussie dollar was good and they are better at holding a bidon.

Agree with all that...the King cages are bloody tight! I've had to bend them open just to get the bottle in?

I'm really starting to hate this thread!

All these absolutely drool-worthy Tommasini's are turning me very green with envy. Battered and beaten or pristine a Tommasini always captures my attention.

Why don't I have one?
