Rob

I have a soft spot for tandems.

I would be fully expecting both BBs to be standard British threads, given the tension pulley rather than an eccentric, or are you concerned with condition?. I'd prefer a ghost chainring for the purpose of chain tension but that's just me. Of most interest is the Arai drum brake, which can fetch some good money on its own.

Cheers,

Cameron

Kudos to the seller for the well framed pic. Intentional or not it's a cool effect.

Finally! Those x-ray glasses that I sent away for from a comic book ad as a kid are working! I can see straight through those hub flanges like they were transparent. Wow I've only waited 50 year for those things to work. ;)

Looking at just the frame and chainset I'm going to guess $500-700.

yes Robert, you're correct, that's where the value is, looks like it's had other parts replaced
over the years.
Love the pinstriping 8)

LMAO: That one needs to be preserved for posterity. The photo shown below is the ONLY photo in the ad BTW.

Anyway, hopefully after the gear shifters get some attention it will look a little less like a sideways lounge suite.

Nice.

Though I think their Replogle Classic World Globe.. listing is better
On offer is a world globe made in USA.
Maybe it's a political statement?

Not that I want to start a bidding war (and it's too small for me anyway - damn), but this appears to be a historically significant bicycle belonging to well-known Victorian rider Ted Harrison:

Please note I am not the seller, nor connected to this sale in any way. I just want this to be saved from the hipsters and the powdercoaters.

I know the person who bought this and I've already told him he did well. He won't repaint either.

Re the chainset, I think its a Williams C34.

Anyone know who got this one? Would be really interested to hear more of it. (I had a dip but didn't win it)
