"The bikes range anywhere from Trek's, Schwinn's and vintage stuff to your typical department store bikes." Looks like 95%+ worthless junk to me from those pics.

So if the original price is $300 is $150 50% or 80% off? And is the best brand Road Chief or Indi 500? Make up your mind, you;ve gone to all that trouble and contradicted yourself.silentbutdeadly wrote:im_no_pro wrote:Not sure if seller is stupid or thinks we are stupid..... or both?

Saw a couple of these in real life back in the UK. Really well built but I never worked out why they bothered with the 'gate' design at the front seat of the tandem. Pointless really.

No bids with 16hrs left at only 1000 pounds? Sounds like a bargain to me, even with only one saddle .
This one just popped up on bookface listed as an Australia Post bike for $400. I'm no expert but the only thing that looks remotely AP about it to me is the colour. What's the verdict?

I'd be tempted if I had a reliable hookup in the UK too - it's one of the nicest tandems I've seenWyvernRH wrote:Want it..... Very tempted to get my sister to drop around and pick it up....matt1986 wrote:http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/262151275854 ... EBIDX%3AIT Holy hell.

Certainly not a southcott bike. IIRC prior to then there was no standard bicycle & the local manager bought whatever he felt like. Frankly though without any provenance, it is just a red bike.ldrcycles wrote:This one just popped up on bookface listed as an Australia Post bike for $400.
