Thanks for organising this.
Nice weather and a good turnout by the look of things. Copped a DiaCompe Mtb lever and an 18 tooth rear sprocket for the Raleigh 20. No luck with a bidon, but 2 of 3 is good.

Any old-bikey stuff happening around Melbourne in late september 2017? Am contemplating a short visit and would be nice to soak up the atmosphere of an aussie swap meet
cheers,
Colin

$20 would have landed some good gear on the weekend.

It's on again.

The Melbourne Vintage Cycle Club Swap meet is on Saturday 13th of April.

Seller set up from 8am.

Buyers from 9am to 12 noon

Location: At the rear of Abbotsford Cycles, 27 Swan Street, Richmond./

PM me if you want a spot reserved as a seller.

Its a great social day and a tremendous opportunity to sell and buy stuff face to face rather that hopefully trawling ebay, FB etc.

I'd upload the flyer if I knew how. Anyone?

It was a good turn out, I picked up some crank arms to match the updated derailleurs on the Shogun. Pity the Mrs is away and I had the kids with me. I would have spent a lot more time (and money) there.
A big thanks to whoever does the organising.

It is Mark Bradley, via the Vintage Cycle Club. Many years ago when Paul Farren was still with us he asked Mark to take over. He (and Paul Watson) do the organising and I think they do a great job so well done Mark.

The Olmo did go to someone here but I’m not sure if that person wants it shouted from the rooftop. It’s gone to a good home.

I was the lucky bugger who bought the Olmo! I'm really happy with my purchase, along with a a Record groupset that will compliment it nicely. I can't wait start the build.

Thanks too for the kind words about the 'Swappo'. The next will be in April 2020. Back2Bikes (my employer) & Just Pedal may organise another swap meet early in the new year. Stay tuned.
