Sydney Dragster and Lowrider Meet - May 2009

Sydney Olympic Park, May 2009 - a pile of dragster and low-rider enthusiasts got together, had a barbecue and then a good social ride around Sydney Olympic Park and Newington (former Naval Armourments Depot). 71 pictures are uploaded. Only two mechanical faults during the day - 1 broken chain (quickly fixed) and 1 puncture (not so quickly fixed). The punctured 20" wheel was replaced with a 16" wheel someone was carrying spare.

And a good time was had by all!

Oh, you bet they were nice rides. I had a go on the stretched cruiser (make by "Puma" I think). These pictures have inspired me and a mate to do up a couple of old funky curved frames into dragsters. I'd like to get another Sturmey-Archer AW hub and a frame mounted gear shifter to put on mine.
