Sturmey Archer dragster gear shifters.

Postby sixx » Mon Sep 28, 2009 8:14 pm

Know a guy with a few of these gear boxes if anyones interested.
2 pretty much brand spankin', not sure if they have been on a bike but look pretty sweet. 2 others are in good nick also but missing face plate that could easily be replaced with a bit of alloy or something.
1 in 2nd cond. but could probably clean up ok.
5 gear shifters all up.

Nah Shaun, not pics of "his" ones, but I had them in my hot little hand today. Apparently they are a bit hard to get, especially in good nick .... although there is one on ebay right now in tip top cond.
I thought I would check in here first before they go under the hammer. Not sure what he wants for them, but will see him in a week so I can get it all sorted if anyones keen.

No hub or anything, just the shifter.

Exackery like this -

EDIT: On second thought, I've removed the 'stolen' pic, but one can be seen here ... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Sturmey-Archer-B ... 286.c0.m14

HM, I've got an oldie at home (holland) that I was going to spray up once I've finished painting the roadster, I'm going to replace everything so I can do a reasonable deal on the cheap for everthing I take off depending on what standard of build you and your mate were doing.
Things coming off will be ... saddle/seat post/sissy bar, handle bars/stem, brakes, chain guard, wheels, tyres, bike stand, SA shifter, crank set/peddles

ummm ... everything except the frame ... not sure why I wrote all that??? :? :?
