ROUBAIX !!!!
Postby MichaelB » Fri Apr 07, 2017 12:46 pm
It seems with the weatehr forecast, my hopes of a wet race are dashed again.
2016 event was brilliant (not only for the winner), but how the race unfolded.
Can't wait to see who wins this time.
Hope it's either GvA (as a favourite) or Durbo as an outsider

Oss needs a major bonus (as well as the rest of the team for their efforts).
Thought that GvA was against it when he got a bit boxed in the sprint, but he just wound it up Great result for Langeveld too.

I've been following BMC on FB and GvA has a ton of results this spring. Very cool. I suspect he's an overnight success 15 years in the making

Don't know about in other States, but in WA SBS was broadcasting adverts extolling the virtues of coal!! Methinks the focus group for the Fossil Fools misunderstood the market in this time slot. They are looking pretty desperate. *
*Or perhaps they think the racing is done on fixies.

Brilliant effort from Daniel Oss. He rode out the front for what seemed like forever.
