Perth scumbags shopping for Christmas

Yep, some scumbag has stolen Max's birthday bike from outside PICA last night. D-lock cut and bike taken along with several others. There are a lot of sketchy people in the city at the moment - take care.

That's disappointing to hear. Hopefully the cameras in the area picked something up. Sadly, most of these bikes get stripped down as parts and sold on.

Can you advise what brand and model of D-Lock was installed. I have a french made one that has a bike replacement policy should they manage to cut through it or something.

I think the best thing for expensive mobile phones, cameras and bikes in personal item insurance. Something I have for each of those items I own. With insurance anything can happen to them (and it has to me!) and you get a new one.

Thieves cut through a Kryptonite D-lock.

The D-lock was a Kryptonite tough enough to last six months in France with the bike padlocked to a towball bike rack, no problem. Maybe not so many scumbags there.
