^^^ Steve Hogg reckons the Composit (their most tiny saddle) is actually the widest fitting, because it's the flattest due to the size. I didn't get a chance to try it when I tried the Dynamic for a couple weeks, then the Forma for a month. I would have liked to try the Composit!

^^^ I know what they are SUPPOSED to do hehehe
I think that's why testing a few is a good idea. I found the Forma shape to be different to the Dynamic, because of the padding. I preferred the Forma, but couldn't tolerate the width. I think I'd like another go with the 209 and the Composit... but I'd need a test saddle for a month because it takes a lot of time to adjust to that level of stiffness. I managed a 350km day with the Forma - the bursitis might have been purely running or jumping related, but I certainly had problems after that big ride. I think a narrower seat might have been good, but who knows?
Get a test saddle. If you dislike the seat shape immediately, it won't work. But gosh, they are tough on the arse.

I had a Velo seat on an old bike even though it was cheap it fitted me quite well and was comfortable. I decided to look in the velo range and now gone off smp and they are about one fifth of the price of a smp.

Hmmm interesting I had a Velo that I took off but it was wider than those, I may look into them a bit more.

Velo have a massive range of saddles, and make an even more massive range of OEM branded ones too. LBS bargain bin would probably be worth a shot. I had an Apollo branded one that was pretty good.
