Out of interest, how long have you been using the road bike?
a few years, i'm very much a casual roadie, as i use my HT mtb commuter, setup tubeless as well
its just best to know how to use tubeless tyres, and that there are repair kits for tubeless tyres by dynaplug
its just a matter of understanding tubeless tyres and their limitations, and also how to maintain them, like anything else

Another Continental tube failure this morning. Split at the tube to valve join as per several others.
That's the last of my Continental collection.
All the way with Shwalbe # SV15.
No problems yet on the first of five purchased a year or more back and they fit all tyres from 18-28mm.

Interesting Tim. I'm going to give those Shwalbe's a try next time I'm ordering tubes.

Here's the update on my tube woes.

- The Vittoria 25-28 tubes I've been using still all have a perfect track record (no unexpected failures at all).

- Another of the Michelin A1 18c-25c tubes (the ones that failed in the first few km in a 25c tyre) has now been running for several month in a 23c tyre without problems.

Conclusions.

1. Some of the smaller sized tubes just don't cut it at 25c (even though they are rated as such). Perhaps they've cheaped out of the rubber and it doesn't stretch as well as it used to, IDK, but whatever the reason I'm pretty sure this is a thing as plenty of other people have noticed it.

2. For the most part, the tubes that failed in 25c tyres seems to be reliable enough in 23c or smaller.

I'm a convert to Schwalbe tubes having had a bad set of 3 Conti tubes. The 4th one is in the bin. I use the Schwalbes for both 25's and 28s.

Do you guys know the country of manufacture of the Shwalbe's? From my data so far, Thailand seems to be a safer bet than China.

Reading off the bottom of the box;
"Made in Indonesia".

The vast majority of rubber products will be made in SE Asia - Thailand, Malaysia or Indonesia. Some are made further north, but the proportion is pretty low.
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.

Made in Indonesia under license by Hung-A (and apparently strict QC).

I just use Wiggle's Lifeline brand 700 x 18-25c

Not sure what size I should use in my CX bike with 700 x 35 tyres? I currently use the 700 x 28-35c but wondering if I should use the 700 x 35-45c?
