Where are you traveling to? If you are sentenced to hard labour in Sydney, I'm happy to lend you an ordinary work stand while you are here

The Park Tool Team Issue Portable Repair Stand PRS-25 or 22.2 look good at just 6kg, but at ~$400 it would want to be
Anything you can do, I can do slower

My Aldi one is kinda portable, but probably not suited to public transport travel, only in the car. For the $360 saved over the park tool one, I'll work out how to squeeze it in.

To the Apple Isle. I appreciate the offer FB, but it's a long way south
And I'm not really keen on $400...

I built a few aircraft in a past life. One thing I learnt from that experience is, do all maintenance before you leave home.

I agree. It would be nice to have a portable work stand to take with me though...

Bit of rope around the saddle and a skyhook?

Rope? How about the spare tube that he'd carry anyway?
