Seen this? I tried this on the weekend, heading to a kid's party followed by a concert. Worked a treat, ten cent instant pantaloons and positively no underthing exposure! But yes, best results require some billow and ideally stretch, Metalicus make a few nice things on those specs. I used an empire line/babydoll dress that is already crinkled by design, so it does not suffer from being bunched up with a lacky (a favourite for the bike - it's also black, so I can wipe off chain grease on it if I have to).Summernight wrote:I tried doing that once to get to a function... Except I tried riding in a tight knee-length skirt. Didn't work even before I left the office (couldn't even really get my leg over the bike to hop on) and I ended up having to hoik the skirt up to my waist (I was wearing leggings underneath so all was good. )TigerFilly wrote:Very quick ride home today with the wind at my back. I was riding in my tights, skirt and high heels too.
I need to invest in some loose flowing skirts...
As for this morning, chillier ride in than I was ready for this morning. Zoned out a little as I reached the campus ring road and nearly went into the back of a bus that hit the skids at a roundabout, oops
