Don't have any of those issues by running for the endomondo app on my phone, sticking it in my back pocket and forgetting about it, I have it set to transport as a default, saves messing with uploads and editing after, and who rides without a phone? Uses next to no battery either, might not be as accurate as from a Garmin, but it's close enough

That is odd as they have a tick box choice for commutes when uploading- which I have yet to work out what it does (never really looked to be truthful)

I thought that might have to do with heat maps, they can filter commutes. They have a lot of information that can be supplied to local governments for planning, thats if they can find a government that plans past the next election that is.

Is there a function where we, as the paying user can filter for commutes?

You could do with their API but it would require a little programming.

Me too.

I upload manually and have no issues, must be different for manual uploads.

Some of the bugs appear to be sorted, and you can edit the rides to Transport quite easily, and get an instant update on the stats page. However, the numbers are not yet transferring to the Challenge, which is leaving me 100km short to date. Hopefully this will be sorted in due course, so us auto uploaders are still in with a chance.

Bruce - I hear you; I am trying to get Ox within 1 weeks worth of commutes (about 180 km). I have got it down to Ox having 220 "ish" advantage just to find out that rather than being just over one weeks advantage it is closer to two.

No answer for that other than more riding. At least Ox is keeping us going as it gets cold.

Ox - Hope it works out well for you - while the manual upload is a pain it does work well.
Not fast, no style, but still get there.

Ah Westy, I see you've snuck back on the first page. Some of the rides have made their way to the challenge now, but there is still about 30 odd km missing - Enough that would other wise have me jumping into 12th!

Why does Endo say I don't have the Garmin plug in? Strava just loads up, same way.

Ahhhh...works with Firefox, not IE. What a crock

Another edit. And now I'm missing rides   Oh well...have to ride more now 8)

About that- second half of the year could see this become a one horse race though- work may get in the way

I'm beginning to lag a little too, still within about 300kms of the top 2, but struggling to extend my normal commutes as often as I'd need to close the gap, and I'm anticipating some work issues too. Still well on for a 10k km year, topped 5k today.

Old interface at Endomondo seems to have returned and the distances have caught up. May need to put in a bit of an effort this arvo to lock down that 12th place! :P

You are within sight of the glory of 11th place, but Gary Jukes doesn't seem to have uploaded lately so I suspect that will be shortlived.

Bruce is on the money, but this week was a short week for me. Only rode two days so have to extend it out as much as possible on the way home.
