I have been looking round for some mud guards for the commuter, came across these that looked ok. Had to buy the bike as well.

The shakedown run this afternoon in the rain was quite pleasant. Will make my run to work in the morning ok even though I have to work on Sunday.

New commuter just setup.

Merida T5, Tioga bags and racks, Selle SMP seat, mudguards. Just waiting a new set of Ergo grips..... Still new to this so adjusting as I go! I had a road racer which couldn't take bags, so had to 'upgrade' so I can bring lunch and a laptop...

Another one of those high-vis commuter types. Ultegra equipped flat bar is my weapon of choice - with panniers :D

Used to be a trek,

broke frame

so got hold of a Norco frame and a bits and pieces bike now with velocity deep V rims, brooks saddle, butterfly bars set up for my bob trailer but intermittently wears a rack and some panniers

has a mini newt light for dawn and dusk and a xeccon for darker nights

got some 3m reflective tape

a bit dear at $5 per metre but a metre is all you really need for the stays + forks, i'm going to get another metre to dress up the main triangle though

I have no idea. They have no brand name and were covered in dust on the top shelf of a local bike shop. Only $14 tho which was nice.

I've been told they are "girly bars" if that helps :P

What started off its second life as a $20 bargain morphed into my near ideal commuter
Steel frame, racks and guards, dual sided pedals, SP Dyno hub and lights, running 32mm SMP.

Still very nice, I love the structural engineer's style of the Moulton. A couple of my favourite motorcycles had the trellis, my favourite was with chrome trellis frame and swingarm just like your APB R18 swingarm there. (the top bike in the first photo borrows from the Vincent Black Shadow engine and Norton frame, so still rates a mention. I also had the same bike in this my favourite cosmetic version of it but I shall stop now with the trips down photo memory lane.

Very nice tomee!, are the drops skinnier bars or tape than normal, or just relative to the fork/tyre/backlight they are lean?
What's the motivation for cable actuated hydraulic brakes, standard UCI CX requirement or benefits?
