Rainy day, combined with potential attendance at school assembly (requiring swift, sweat free travel during the workday) and bike parts (wheels) pickup this arvo detour ont he way home. No bike for me today.

Nastiest saddle sore I've ever had. Big and dead centre. Riding home last night felt like the saddle had dropped off and the post was mid notcher :(

I don't feel so bad now having to pull out of my tour last week for similar reasons (after four or five days of riding it was just getting to much) plus I managed to do a slow speed crash and damage my shoulder which has still not healed ... hope to find out Friday if I have hairline fracture or just ligament damage.

Heal quickly ...

Woke up early this morning wind was still blowing from last nights storms...looked out the window and still pools of water...looked at the bike and noticed the front tyre was flat...stayed in bed

Agreed, I hope my job never gets so bad that I don't want to ride anymore.

I had a considerable amount of Oporto for lunch. Too full to exercise now.

What time was lunch and how much did you have? I love Oporto as much as the next man but you must have gone hard at it...

My wife has ordered me to clean my car out as we are taking it to Bright. Did that during smoko and lunch.
Hasn't been done since we went to Bright 12 months ago.

A touch of hip soreness, calf cramping and a more than generous dollop of anxiety = Audax Alpine DNS. Fitness has come but everything else just feels way off kilter :-(. I figure if it feels like chore something's off.

Some times you have to HTFU and ignore your body but sometimes you have to listen to what it's telling you and back off.

Showers and rain forecast for Sydney. I didn't fancy another ride in the wet like yesterday. I did however put in extra kms yesterday to make up for the Sydney wet weather over the next couple of days

Train cancelled and replaced by road coaches. I usually train it to the office then ride the 30km home but bikes are not allowed on road coaches. Oh well, brought the hubby's bike into town in my car so it can go to the bike shop for some extra work.

Well, yesterday morning was raining heavily, and I wanted additional time to get home early and prepare for the Asian Cup match so I drove.

This morning was raining heavily, combine that with preparing for first day of school for the biggest ones that incidentally didn't wake up until I had to leave due to the preceding nights match attendance.

Unmotivated and cold.
Then did a ramp test - then a quick ride to flush the legs.
Now feel a bit more motivated

Well, my excuses this year so far have ranged from househunting = no Saturday rides, stressful project at work which requires stupid hours and a car = reduced commuting, and yucky stomach bug = no riding at all! I've had my worst month for riding in ages.

Luckily I'm feeling better now and my crazy work project ends in 5 weeks time. Not sure what to do about missing Saturday rides though! Why don't agents have open houses at times other than Saturday mornings?!?
