Distracted drivers

Postby Bendo » Tue Oct 09, 2018 10:51 am

I've always felt that about about 40-50% of drivers are on their mobiles when I pass them on the road. Now it seems my hunch is borne out in new research:

and the original study site:

This after riding through a serious car accident on my commute this morning; the accident had just happened but emergency services had yet to arrive. It looked like no-one was seriously injured but three cars were written off, one was still in the middle of the road with it's front missing and leaking fluid, small trees were destroyed and a pedestrian crossing's lights were knocked over with the lanterns strewn across the road. It was like riding through a war zone...

*shudder*
