Well, the start of the plan went well. I went from 87 to 82 over summer/autumn, and hoped to plateau over winter.
Did reasonably well... maybe gained a kilo or so... and then went for a week's holiday in Queensland. Came home weighing 87kg
Granted, a good bit of that was temporary. Disruption to routine and some unbridled gluttony that took time to resolve itself. A couple of weeks later, I'm now stable on 84kg.
Over winter, and especially on holidays, I've been gaming my own simple rules. Maintaining the 16-ish hours fast every day (with very occasional exceptions), but then gorging. Eating breakfast+lunch for lunch (plus my daughter's leftovers, especially when eating out), snacking on whatever all afternoon, then a big dinner (plus my daughter's leftovers). Washed down with a beer or two more often than I should.
So, here I am checking in again, ready to start getting serious for the summer. Sensible portion sizes. Cutting out the snacks. Sticking with the breakfast-at-noon thing because it's easy.
