Hi,
I'm sure there is probably a thread on this somewhere but I didn't look really hard. Anyway, I've recently upgraded to road shoes and pedals from mountain bike shoes and pedals on my road bike. I'm finding that when riding initially the outside of my right foot gets a bit sore but then seems to be ok after a few km but after roughly 50km I can feel my right knee beginning to get sore behind the knee cap. I've got dodgy knees anyway but it doesn't seem to affect my left leg or foot. I'm guessing that it has something to do with the positioning of the cleats on the shoe. Can anyone help me with how to set up the cleats properly or what kind of positioning would be better to eliminate the soreness?
Cheers

Stick them as far back as possible and possibly drop your seat or move it forward a fraction but it is real hard to give good advice on setup, without seeing you on a bike.

Go to a shop and get properly fitted. Impossible to advise online.

Yep - you cannot cause any harm doing this. Then read Steve Hogg on cleat position.foo on patrol wrote:Stick them as far back as possible...
