Calories calculated by the Garmin?

I was worried about it too, although stpid is perhaps too strong a word.

Seriously Zill. You have 'all those things covered', which must mean you have determined exactly how many calories you burn by sitting on this forum typing away, therefore you should be able to answer my question. So yes, I'm genuinely worried about this question.

If we're göing to argue about stupid, I'd like to submit a vote for the LBS that said PMs are useless for calculating calories burnt, and that heart rate is a better measure. Sheesh :roll:
