@a-frame81 Just been to the surgeon. Gave me the all clear :P Bones are healing well. Have been given the ok to ride with cleats, some jogging - (if I want).

He went through issues that may arise hopping back into ski boots (feeling the screws) and the small operation to remove them if necessary. It's a bigger job to remove the nail.

He did laugh when I told him that I broke the collarbone a few weeks ago.
I really should take up cycling!

TBH I won't ever bother removing the scres or the pin as they don't cause me any issues. Much more preferable to opting for another round of surgery.

Probably but I like not having to recover from needless surgery.

Just booked my ski trip - anniversary of the break.

I've tried my ski boots, doesn't appear to bother the screws. However the proof will be in the sliding.

I still can't run but it's more like a shuffle akin to Cliff Young.
I really should take up cycling!
