Quad Strain - help please

Postby TheWall » Sat Dec 17, 2016 12:20 pm

Hi All,

I managed to pick up a left side Quad Strain on my morning ride on Thursday morning (long story but it involved a VERY wrong turn and carrying our road bikes down a very rough bush track ha ha).

I have the fearsome Buderim9 (75k and 2000m of elevation) event tomorrow morning and I am looking for some advice/opinion...

1. Anything special I can do between know and 430am tomorrow morning (hoping analyst hope)?
2. Should I be even doing the ride considering I maybe worsening the injury (I unfortunately think I know the answer to this one)

I put a fair amount of training effort in (I am 95kg so hills are not my best buddy but I am using them to get fitter faster!) so I am very keen to ride...

Matt
