Avanti bikes?

This is my first time on here, so I hope I've posted it in the right section; but I'm looking at getting myself a road bike for commuting purposes in a hilly area.

Does anyone know much about Avanti bikes? I am looking at a women's specific, Avanti Vitales 3 which is last years model. I haven't seen much online in terms of reviews but was hoping someone might have some info/experience that they could share. (It's on sale down from 1,399 to 999)

Avanti is a NZ/Australian Brand which is why you won't see too many reviews from International sites. They're just starting to penetrate International markets

If you look at the bikes owned thread (viewtopic.php?f=12&t=34894&p=1226777&hi ... i#p1226777" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) they're the second most owned brand (currently on par with Trek).

That's got to say something about them

I have an Avanti Cadent road bike that is about four years old. Never had a problem with it and the guys at my local Avanti shop are more than helpful.
