It's quite reasonably priced too relative to other e-bikes.
Oh - and you do need a drivers license to ride it. :Wink
Ubco 2x2
Been wanting to try a 2x2 off-road
Don't quite see benefits of a bike that only does 50km/h with range of 60km who you're pushing it max... on road that's about as unwieldy as a vintage asthmatic Vespa
unless you stick to only 40km/h roads you'll just be paying to become another mobile road hazard.
60c to recharge 2kW/hr... that's just on electric bill. That 50V 2000Wh battery pack might only do 500-1000 cycles, if it costs $2000 to replace then that's $2-4/charge. Versus a modern Vespa that might sip 2-3L/100km ($3-4.50) there's no cost benefit either.
Biggest "pro" with being road-reg'able is it's got proper headlight, taillight & indicators built in. It's taking far too long for eBikes to get simple conveniences like lights built into frame where they can't get damaged/nicked & plumbed into the battery pack, no dangley messy exposed wiring.
