Stick with the skinwalls. Black tyres are meh and just blend into the background. Everyone else has a black bike. Be a little different.Carrots wrote:To stay, or not to stay... Gum walls. Hmmmm.

What the heck? I bet that must get some interest!
This is mine after some quite radical fit changes, and some other little tweaks:
Saddle went up 30mm, cleats went back a bit, bars were rotated down, hoods moved somewhat inwards, brake levers adjusted a bit. The next step is to change the bars to 40cm ones from the 42 that are on it. The changes have made a huge improvement to riding it over long distances and stopped the fatigue feeling in the upper part of my legs. It feels effortless now. A shame however that it has a small battle scar on the front fork, someone else riding along with me kicked up a small stone and it fired off sideways right onto the fork - chipped the paint. Otherwise - going strong, approaching 7000km.

Lucky you had 30mm of adjustment in that ISP.

The guy who did the changes mentioned that was probably happening before I said anything. I just thought I'd lost some strength and just had to tough it out and it'd get better. The changes solved a couple of other niggling complaints, and identified a couple of things I have to do a little bit differently.
I couldn't believe how much difference the changes made. Indeed very lucky that there was enough adjustment with spacers in there.
