Take off the white edges!
It is a little tricky however with care and a scalpel or stanly knife, you can carefully lift the edges. they will look much better.
Of course if you are sticking fresh stickers on, just remove without the white edge.

Ya gone and made me look harder at these now Christopher and I can now see the outline within the black.
