How to Search the Australian Cycling Forums

Postby AUbicycles » Fri Feb 10, 2017 6:51 pm

There are two ways to search Bicycles Network Australia and the Australian Cycling Forums.

1.Forum Internal Search
The internal search for the cycling forums appears on the top right for members with 1 (one) or more posts in the forum.

The forum internal search however is not available to Guests or members with zero posts.

2.External Search via Google
The second approach can yield better results and can be used by everyone with access to the google website.

Inside google search, format your search query so that it just searches Bicycles.net.au. For example, when searching for Shimano, type in:
site:bicycles.net.au Shimano

You could add more search terms. The plus (+) symbol means that the words have to appear in the search results.
site:bicycles.net.au +shimano +dura +ace +di2

If you are searching for a specific or exact term, in google you would use this format:
site:bicycles.net.au "Sydney Bicycle Paths"
