EPS Power units Athena/Chorus/Record... the same?

Just bought a new second hand frame and looking at fitting out a Record EPS upgrade.

I'm looking at power units and am wondering what the difference is between the Athena, Chorus and Record. They all weigh the same, shift 11 speed, have the same input/output etc. The only difference i can garner is the cost... the Athena is significantly cheaper. If it's going to live inside my seat tube, weigh the same and perform the same function, I don't really care what label it has on it's side.

Anyone looked into this?

No, the power unit for Athena is not compatible with the rest of the EPS line up.
