Fuji Gran Fondo Road Bike - any good?

Hi

I'm looking at purchasing a Fuji Gran Fondo Road Bike. 2016 model was $2899 now $1699 AUD
Has Ultegra and is Carbon Fibre 5
I've been told this is an amazing deal. I want to do long rides and events, 100km etc, not interested in racing.
What are you thoughts on this bike? Do you guys rate Fuji?
