So, pre-registration seems to be closed... any idea whether we can just rock up on the day (open/C grade)?

Son had a blast as usual. Had a few crashes (including one in the sand trap). But he's still all smiles and sunshine. I said I took some photos of him and he replied "did you get any of my crashes?"

That's the spirit :lol:

I had fun on my junker 8-speed hardtail, until the only sprocket that wasn't slipping, did - and over the bars I went :lol:

Spent the remaining few pre-elimination laps hanging off the back and trying to keep rolling while soft-pedalling to avoid the reverse-freewheel effect.

Watching the higher grades was impressive - they don't really slow down much for the barriers!
