Hahaha - too true mate - no CAAD10 that's for sure (although I bought the first CAAD10 for the same reason - the colourway!). My first carbon bike, so I'm champing at the bit to get it out for a play.
Your Giant looks good - I like the colours on that too!
cheers

This bike is based on a custom steel frame by Allan Wanta of Carlsbad, California. It's made of a mix of Columbus and Dedacciai tubing and weighs about 1,800g. It has Paragon machine works dropouts, rear brake cable hanger, and a lugged bottom bracket shell for strength. The fork is a carbon monocoque weighing about 450g. It's painted in a gunmetal colour with silver decals. Build is as follows:
Frame attachments: Cane creek/FSA Orbit headset with oversized lower bearing, Thomson road stem, 3t Ergnova Pro 44cm handlebars, Brooks violet leather bar tape, Campagnolo Chorus carbon seatpost, Selle Flite ti saddle.
Groupset: Mix of Campagnolo Record 10s Ultra shifters, Chorus front derailleur, Veloce rear derailler, Chorus 12-25t cassette and Record chain, SRAM Rival OCT crankset 46/36t with TA Specialites outer ring, TRP EuroX cantilever brakes.
Wheels: Campagnolo Centaur loose ball hubs with oversized axles (like Record, Chorus), Velocity Aerohead 32H rims (OC rear), DT Revolution spokes (Competition on rear DS), Challenge Grifo XS 33mm tires.

Cheers. Sorry bout the multiple posts. Tapatalk was acting a little crazy.macca33 wrote:Ad-hoc course made up with pickets and tape mate - most of the velodrome infield and some outside with a bit of a sharp pinch and mud thrown in - was a whole lot of fun. Nothing permanent though, as the site is multi-use.

Yep I have since seen a few pics of the course. And over the years I have done stuff from footy training to walk for life inside that velodrome.
I suspwct lardner park would be a place to set a nice course. Every year at farm world the car park sorta becomes a defacto CX course
