To do:
- Install cross top levers i've had sitting around the shed for months
- Chop the steerer tube
- Swap the boat anchor tyres for something that rolls a little faster on the road
- Try and find another 9 speed disc wheelset to chuck some CX rubber on (I'm too lazy to swap tyres )

How was Quarry Trail on your CX; as I'd like to add it to my commute (Hornsby - Bella Vista) options?
I've tried Schofields Trail on my CX and it was way to rough as a regular commute.

Id not have thought of it as a commute option due to having to work so hard on the climbs, your going to get a good sweet going that's for sure.Leethal wrote:ChrisD wrote:I did Quarry Trail on Sunday morning, and was keen to see how the gearing would go on the return climb. As far as fire trails go it's good, but you still have a look out for loose rock (no switching off). The descents are the tough part, it much slower on the CX....just need more confident I think LOL
