Only ships to US and Canada, but with the Auspost freight forwarding offer, I estimated a Nemo Hornet 2P at $385 landed, vs $650 from Paddy Pallin.

Massdrop have a set of three ultralight drybags as a drop for approximately $36 delivered. These are lightweight bags comparable in weight by the looks to the Sea to Summit UltraSil bags.
If the Sea to Summit prices at Mainpeak are guide this is a pretty good deal for a set of three bags, assuming of course the sizes suit.

Massdrop have a drop coming up on a Vargo Titanium BOT 700ml which may appeal. No pricing yet but you can "request" the drop and get in on the queue to join if the price appeals.

I like that this version of the Bot has handles.Aushiker wrote: Massdrop have a drop coming up on a Vargo Titanium BOT 700ml which may appeal. No pricing yet but you can "request" the drop and get in on the queue to join if the price appeals.
I've requested an email notification from Massdrop when they become available.

I have gone with a Toaks 850ml which takes my full cooking kit other than fuel. They can be obtained from Aliexpress for a lower price than I paid for mine from Trail Designs.

I like a very big cuppa, be it tea/coffee or just water.RonK wrote: But too small for me.
Finding a decent vessel isn't as easy as I thought.
Plastic seems to very quickly go brown inside with the tar from the tea which I find an off putting eyesore.
I've found the enamelled cups I've bought from camping shops, quickly end up with bubbles of rust coming up underneath the enamel.
I assume made in china.
I took and broke my favourite china mug last tour.
I find something thats inert (non ferris), easy clean, fits a Nalgene and thus might situate itself within one of my
BBB XL Fueltanks appealing.

A capacity of 440 ml .. to the brim, a more usable capacity is 400ml .. still a reasonable sized cup of tea.
The top can be sealed with a 'Gloulburn Valley' 1kg plastic container green plastic cap (used to package fruit). You will need to dremal the plastic caps thread out and then it is the perfect size to make the cup into a container for tea bags etc.
The handle can be removed if you want - it is brazed on. In some instances the braze is not fully made all the way around so you may be able to barging for a cheaper price.
Weight with handle is 172 grams.
OD 85 mm, id 77 mm external height 104 mm.

Hehe - despite the handles, it's a pot, not a cup.rifraf wrote:I like a very big cuppa, be it tea/coffee or just water.RonK wrote: But too small for me.

Not having a lot of carrying capacity, a mug that does not nest with my stove and pot is impractical. A 450ml single wall mug integrates nicely with my 1litre Bot, and it can be put straight on the stove if necessary. If I want a bigger drink I just make another cup.
Whilst it may fit into your BBB XL Fuel Tank nested with a Nalgene, you then have to carry the top separately (and risk loosing it).
Time to ditch that teapot and get some decent teabags. Like these - the best Earl Grey I've ever tasted. Also sold in my local David Jones store.

It would be difficult to determine if this is a good price, since this particular item is not sold anywhere else.rifraf wrote: Price is just in.

But as a guide, I paid $128 AUD for a 1 litre Bot including shipping, so around $30 AUD difference.

RESQLINK+ PLB 406MHz GPS Enabled Floating Rescue Beacon $269.10 Shipped (AT) eWarehouse eBay
Code: CTENOFF
Speil: "Original eBay 10% off deal post
Additional bit off with cashrewards.
This is a no brainer extra piece of mind for those out on the water. For sake of $269.10 and drowning, or getting eaten by sharks I choose this.
This is the cheapest I could get my hands on a shipped RESQLINK+ (RESQLINK without + also available, only difference I understand is the "+" means it floats, non plus sinks). There was a cheaper price a few weeks back at CH Smith Marine as part of Sydney boat show, but I couldn't get to the shop and they refused over the phone order (they had 15% off $299).
Please note that whilst it is a PLB and has similar function to EPIRB (including GPS in this model), it will NOT meet the requirements if your vessel needs EPIRB.
Only difference I understand between this RESQLINK+ PLB and an EPIRB, is battery life, PLB = 24 hours of beacon, EPIRB must have 48 hours of beacon life. EPIRBS must also float (which this one does). Also handy size for bushwalking/4wd off roading.
Other important notes:
- this is from an authorised Australian seller
- 6 years battery life
- is licensed to a human, whereas EPIRB is licensed to a vessel"

Oh the spork cost $7.00, weighs 15 grams and most important to me folds up really small. Delivery time was within the normal Chinese delivery timeframe; ordered on July 18, received today August 16.
