This maybe an option if you cannot mount a Salsa Anything Cage or the like on your forks. I am doubtful about their ability to hold over a day of off-track riding but they maybe okay on a road ride or three.

A bit of a review at Myriad Bike Adventures.

I have looked at these, though considering the King Cage Universal Support Bolt (USB) — basically a hose clamp with a bolt welded on — or the three bolt adapter Kerry at Klite has. The USB has a slimmer line (and a little more elegant?), though the Kline adapter looks like it would last longer

I just use cable ties and electrical tape...have an old tube between cage and fork... have no issues on a carbon fork which tapers down and have ridden some rough roads and single tracks

I am pretty sure these have been mentioned before but Road.cc has a bit of a review of them which may be of interest.

Came across Humangear GoToob containers at Bivouac [NZ]. A poke around Aliexpress and bingo the same containers are there as well ... surprise surprise :)

Anyone tried these?
Arr REI and Amazon have them .. reviews

http://www.travelsage.co.uk/humangear-g ... es-review/ (best review I think)
https://packhacker.com/travel-gear/humangear/gotoob/ -caps can break ... but life time guarantee, they say they will replace them

So sizes;
small 37ml
medium 60ml
large 89ml

Not for olive oil, mayonnaise .. probably oils in general. They suggest soaps, sunscreen, shampoo, conditioner, lotion.

Ihave 2... 1 for sunscreen and 1 for chamois cream... not good if I get the mixed up but they seem to work ok and I can buy bulk to save money and just keep filling them up

I use nalgene bottles for everything. They are food approved but can also stand oils etc.

Or I buy f.x. shampoo in it's original big bottle and a much smaller one for traveling and then refill the small from the big. For emergency or lightweight I get the very small sample tubes.

I wouldn't dare buying plastic for food or skincare in China.

A lot of their stuff LOOKS like the real thing, but was made differently.

I once bought a non skid rubbermat for the cars dashboard. It looked exactly like the ones in the shops here but at a 1/4 of the price. I threw it out, when the plastic on the dashboard started bubbling and getting dissolved by the chemicals in the mat.

For bikepackers, the upcoming RatKing T-Racks offer the option to carry mini-panniers or 3-bolt cage.

Available for pre-order here.

It was tested and reviewed by bikepacking.com contributor Cass Gilbert here.

hehe, I like that.First there was all the rage about minimising your kit by bikepacking, now we get mini racks and soon we'll probably have super miniracks and we're back to the start :D :D :D

I can see the benefit of the model for carrying panniers but the model which has the cage mount on it seems overkill for carrying a couple of bottles. I cannot see why one wouldn't mount the cages directly to say the seat stays. I guess the top of the rack might be useful if you where not using a saddle bag.

Still good to see options.

I have gone with a Salsa Alternator 170 rack but I need it to carry 15 litres of water. If I didn't need to do that it wouldn't be on the bike.

Quadlock's next big innovation looks like a must have.

I’m sure this rack will appeal to those who don’t have enough clearance to use a saddle bag. And it may as well be dual-purpose.
I don't see the point in offering yet another pannier rack. There are any number of offerings already available.

Would have been very useful here in Queensland today with democracy sausage sizzles everywhere.

But what is remarkable is that the Bunnings sausage sizzle is now a recognisable feature of contemporary Australian culture.

Anyone have the Helinox Chair Zero http://www.helinox.com.au/lightweight-c ... chair-zero? Wondering on the difference in durability with the Chair one (I'd much prefer durability over weight increase).

I have a Sunset Chair, and wild like something smaller to take on multi-day offload adventures. I am shifting more to less hours on the bike and having a nice seat to relax on...

There is absolutely NO WAY I can walk past one of those sausage sizzles at Bunnings without having one....once that smell hits my nose I'm in line with my wallet out.....I'm a sucker for the sizzle  :P

I have a Chair one and have no problems whatsoever, except in loose sand, the legs sink in, but I have 4 tennis balls with a hole in them, to put on the legs of the chair.
I mainly have the chair in my car. I can't imagine taking it on a bike trip. I usually find adequate sittings everywhere(except in the Sahara in Morocco)

PS: On a motorcycle forum, people bought the chinese copy and were very satisfied with it but I can't guarantee anything.

Ground chair owner here, great piece of kit. Transformative for the camping experience now I'm starting to get a wee bit older.
