Can anyone comment on this computer and advise me if it's a good model to get. It seems to have a lot of good features.

Yeah, I'm pretty happy with mine. There are bugs, such as occasional bluetooth issues and random deletion of bike profiles, but it locks on to satellites very quickly, (usually) uploads rides straight to Garmin Connect via bluetooth through the phone and the touch screen is pretty handy. The ultimate measure is whether I'd buy one again, and that's a definite yes.

I bought one a couple of weeks ago. Pretty happy with it so far. I like the ability to upload my ride by Bluetooth - saves taking it off the bike during the week. Screen is customisable and easy to read in full sunlight. The touch screen works with my riding gloves on. I couldn't see any reason to upgrade to the 810 - if I need navigation with real maps, I have a smartphone.

Thanks guys. I did look at the 810 but figured I don't need the navigation, so the 510 looks like a winner. I will go ahead and buy that one. Cheers
