Hey mates
I recently was given a Garmin Edge 500 for free, and today updated to it to the most recent software. I've performed an AutoLocate and left it out in the open, with a clear view of the sky, for multiple hours, yet it still cannot find a satellite. Any idea what the issue may be?
I've also tried a Master Reset but nothing happens when I press the combination of buttons neccessary; the device remains off.
If anyone could help me out, I'd really appreciate it!
Cheers

Could this be the reason why it was free?????
Sorry, if you've updated software, then hard reset the device, I'm no good. You could try the Garmin forums, othewise send it to Garmin for checking perhaps.
Good luck.
