Yeah, I've seen mixed opinions, but apparently the newer releases have improved a lot. Never tried one myself, but tempted given the current prices on Evans cycles for Di2 alfine 11.

A workmate has an IGH. 2 wheel rebuilds in the time all I've had to do to my commuter wheels is regrease the hubs. $300 for a rebuild vs $170 delivered for my replacement wheels....I know which one I'll be doing again

Mulger bill, be happy with what you have mate. It's always better to ride sooner than later! Oh...when you guys see the whole bike, it's a beaut! We will put up pics soon. Maybe we'll even give one away! (stay tuned).

If that is the case, can you give it to me? Small is my size and your CX will truly be ridden and tested by me :D

What a ripper bike. Great price on it too.

Is it running a 46/36? What BB standard is it? Keen to see the geometry chart too.

Bit disappointed it has BB5 brakes. Thought it was looking like SRAM hydros from earlier posts.

I think the SRAM hydro brakes were recalled. Probably a case of "do we release now, or do we wait until SRAM get their act together?"

ditto. would have expected BB7 at least. also slightly disappointed in the apex groupset.. why bother with the rival rear derailleur?

Bought an omeo 2 back in December (and still love it) , just wondering if I can convince the better half I need one of these for the wet weather commutes. Looks like an ideal bike for that

Anyone have experience on regularly switching between Shimano and SRAM? I used to have brainfarts riding my tourer with a "rapid rise" derailleur but maybe that's because it was too similar - still Shimano.

Yep I've got Shimano on my daily commuter and SRAM Force on the weekend bike.

No issues switching back and forth.

Anyone have experience with Cell's Stanmore workshop?
They have great discounts on servicing at the moment: http://blog.this link is broken/2014/06/to ... -specials/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Probably time I got a premium service - but have you found they do a good, ok, or rubbish job?

Love the look of the new Brunswick, also noticed it's now listed at $1399.

If they sold the bare frame/fork, I'd be mighty tempted to pick one up. I'm already happy with all the components on my bike, but I'd love to have a nice looking alu frame/carbon fork with and inboard mounted rear disc brake and two mounting holes on the triangle for a fender and rack. It's basically the perfect commuter layout, and I can see they're smartly targeting that market with the pictures of if nicely kitted out with fenders and rack with panniers.
