Comedian, who doesn't frequent here any more, has the same issueDrizt wrote:Giant seek 1. Spends more time being repaired than being ridden.
A workmate has an IGH. 2 wheel rebuilds in the time all I've had to do to my commuter wheels is regrease the hubs. $300 for a rebuild vs $170 delivered for my replacement wheels....I know which one I'll be doing again

If that is the case, can you give it to me? Small is my size and your CX will truly be ridden and tested by meCELL Bikes wrote:Mulger bill, be happy with what you have mate. It's always better to ride sooner than later! Oh...when you guys see the whole bike, it's a beaut! We will put up pics soon. Maybe we'll even give one away! (stay tuned).

Is it running a 46/36? What BB standard is it? Keen to see the geometry chart too.

I think the SRAM hydro brakes were recalled. Probably a case of "do we release now, or do we wait until SRAM get their act together?"sir_camel wrote:Bit disappointed it has BB5 brakes. Thought it was looking like SRAM hydros from earlier posts.

ditto. would have expected BB7 at least. also slightly disappointed in the apex groupset.. why bother with the rival rear derailleur?sir_camel wrote:Bit disappointed it has BB5 brakes. Thought it was looking like SRAM hydros from earlier posts.
they are back out again in Red 22, Force 22, Rival 22 and S700 guises.bigfriendlyvegan wrote:I think the SRAM hydro brakes were recalled. Bought an omeo 2 back in December (and still love it) , just wondering if I can convince the better half I need one of these for the wet weather commutes. Looks like an ideal bike for that

They have great discounts on servicing at the moment: http://blog.this link is broken/2014/06/to ... -specials/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Probably time I got a premium service - but have you found they do a good, ok, or rubbish job?

If they sold the bare frame/fork, I'd be mighty tempted to pick one up. I'm already happy with all the components on my bike, but I'd love to have a nice looking alu frame/carbon fork with and inboard mounted rear disc brake and two mounting holes on the triangle for a fender and rack. It's basically the perfect commuter layout, and I can see they're smartly targeting that market with the pictures of if nicely kitted out with fenders and rack with panniers.
