I made an order last Thursday and opted for free shipping (lately I have paid for DHL which has been excellent). Tracking indicates it left UK on the 15th August and then nothing. From looking at the tracking relating to my previous free shipping orders I reckon that P2P only ship a container from Singapore to Sydney once a week (on Fridays) so I expect the Singapore processing to appear tomorrow or Friday.

BTW when Wiggle claimed P2P were experiencing problems over the last few weeks I think what actually happened was that goods were just not processed in Singapore due to the four day public holiday / long weekend celebrating Singapore independence in early August.

It is galling, however, that the order confirmation emails from Wiggle still promise 7 day shipping (although the initial checkout screen does indicate 10 working days).

Delivered after 8 business days.

Good experience with BikeBug. Ordered a hanger aligner and some brake pads on Thursday evening. Shipped the next morning via express post even though it was only the free shipping option. Arrived in Darwin ready for me to pickup Monday morning. Can't complain about that.

Two orders recently.

Wiggle (Sidi shoes)
- Order: 4/8
- Del: 19/8

Cycling Express (socks, rear light, cleats)
- Order 5/8
- Del: 13/8

Not great by CE but a shocker by Wiggle.

From my comment on 17/8, viewtopic.php?p=1281118#p1281118

Received my Wiggle parcel this morning in 8 working days from my order at night on 15/8.
Useless Trakpac info, last Friday at 5pm I checked it up and found that they didn`t include the cleared customs.
3 days to hang around, did they play pass the parcel around for fun. :)

Order from c r c and Merlin, trying out their DHL options. Under the threshold from Merlin, over the threshold from c r c, i dont think it should make a difference as ive paid for DHL, $25 each.

27/8 - 1pm (perth time), Ordered from both c r c and Merlin at the same time
27/8 - 7pm/9pm (perth time), both have been dispatched Merlin/c r c respectively.

Im gonna assume their gonna be on the same plane so will be interesting to see if they arrive together or not.

Bad experience with http://www.clickbike.com.au" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Ordered 26" LHT forks and received 700C, really slow to respond to communications, still no resolution about returning them and nil stock of 26" ones...

Bike-Discount.de about 3 weeks for an order to arrive.

Clarifying, c r c is DHL express, Merlin uses RoyalMail Air priority.

29/8 - c r c order arrives in Perth, due for delivery today.
31/8 - No updates from Merlins order

Last two orders from Wiggle had the following message attached to Order Details screen:

"The order below was not sent using a tracked service.
Please allow the delivery estimate stated at checkout to pass before contacting us.
If you experience any delays please check with your neighbours to see if they have received your parcel.[/i]"

Does this mean they have given up on P2P/Trackpak again I wonder?

When did you order? My last Wiggle order was two weeks ago and was sent P2P/Trakpak. It actually wasn't held up in Singapore like previous orders and made it to Australia in reasonable time but Australia Post sat with it for a day.

Agree on AusPost holding it for a day. But if sent from UK, it was hanging around for 3 days at Customs in Sydney.
As per my comment in 12 posts above.
It was my 1st time on P2P/Trakpak. It was useless tracking.

Ordered late last week. Both orders have no Trackpak record although a tracking link was in the confirmation email. I have asked Wiggle for an explanation.

Moruya Bicycles - online purchase.

Perhaps my 10th purchase from Moruya Bicycles in 7 years. A great place for frame spares, fiddly bits and pieces - great for a huge array of small parts when building up a bike.

Reasonable prices, never had an issue with a part being listed online as 'in stock' and it not being in stock. Plain old fashioned good service - placed order Thursday evening, parts arrive in country Victoria on Monday morning.

Recommended.

Dont think I'll be choosing the "parcel point" delivery option again from Wiggle. 4 days between events from LHR to SIN, now it seems to be stuck with Auspost. Email quite clearly stated delivery within 5 working days....

Bad news - reply from Wiggle customer service:

"These orders are definitely tracked but have not shown up on the Trackpak system yet.

Your patience in the meantime would be much appreciated."

If this is true the orders haven't left the Wiggle warehouse yet. Orders were placed last Wednesday and Thursday. Bummer.

Further info from Wiggle:

"I can confirm that all Wiggle orders to Australia are now tracked.

I cannot say for sure, but it is likely that your orders do not have tracking on them yet because they have not yet been scanned by our delivery partners. This can take a few days and does not necessarily mean they have not been despatched. Once your orders have been scanned by our delivery partners in the coming days, the tracking should then become operational. Please let me know if this has not happened by the end of the week and I should be able to assist further"

Oh well - have to look elsewhere from now on. Situation probably not helped by the fact it was Bank Holiday public holiday in UK on Monday.

I've ordered many parcels of gear from c r c, Wiggle and Evans. Only once has a partial shipment not arrived. Sometimes I've had to wait a 2-3 weeks for deliveries but often a lot shorter timeframe. I have never paid for courier or accelerated delivery. I wouldn't buy items from overseas that I must have in less than 2 weeks as the chain of delivery can easily be disrupted. If in a rush/time limited then buy domestic and pay the extra $$.

Not getting the order delivered immediately is a small price to pay for the cheaper prices. Always amazes me when people get upset when their order doesn't get here overnight...
