9/10 - Order confirmed
10/10 - Order dispatched, estimated arrival 29/10
26/10 - Levers arrived

So nearly 3 weeks, i guess it was quicker than the estimated time. Still nothing great though.

So after my A+ experience with BikeBug on Sunday/Monday, I made a second order to collect at Rosebury during the week (right on my way home from work). All went well until I fitted one of the new tubes and it was dead the next morning. I know how to fit a tube, it wasn't particularly hard to get on or anything and I HATED when I worked in a shop and people would come back with a "new" tube they'd pinched or punctured and wanted a refund. I took the tube and dunked it in the sink to find 2 or 3 tiny little leaks around the base of the valve, not at the actual valve stem but around the edges of where the rubber was bonded to the rest of the tube. Clearly a manufacturing fault.

I called in today on the way home with invoice and dead tube, only to be told "sorry, we don't do returns here, you'll need to go online and request the return info for the online store". Request a return for a single tube. Then mail it back. Seriously.
Having an online presence and a chain of bricks and mortar stores that seem linked enough that you can collect your orders anywhere but then not being able to do a very simple return/replacement is a bit crappy to me. I'm not overly fussed since I used the discount code on that order anyway but I doubt I'll be using Bikebug again.

Pushy's seem to be doing some good work. HOpe they can hold up at their end and not get too big and customer service suffers.

KGB, I had the same issue with some brake pads. They essentially explained that the online business is separate to the storefront business, but I do agree that rather than Bikebug using it as an opportunity to trump Wiggle or c r c, they essentially make it worse because you assume they would at least make SOME effort at customer service given the limitation - even if it was to take the tube and make it back for you. Weird. But essentially I won't deal with them again unless they are basically giving things away or I don't have a choice (like Enve brake pads).

A thumbs up for Pushy's.

I was looking for a new set of shoes to replace my aging SIDI's.

Pushy's had the top of the line Drako for way cheaper than anywhere else. Cheaper in fact than most places were selling the lower models.

I wasn't originally planning to get the Drako, but the price was too good. Site said they had stock, and sure enough they arrived the next business day. Free shipping too.
