Winstanleys cycles have a 50% off sale. Discounts on clothing, parts, bikes, accessories. Grabbed myself an Assos jacket cheaper than I have ever seen it. The website is hard to use: you need to first go to the tiny "currency" button up the top right and switch to AUD. The prices still have VAT displayed, which will be taken off when you enter an Australian address at checkout. The search functions are very limited, so it is a matter of scrolling through a lot of items to find what you want. At checkout, the postage price is displayed as $0; they email you at dispatch to give you a shipping cost. Despite the cumbersome website, I have used Winstanleys a few times and been pretty happy.

I hope you mean Shimano size EU 48 is your size - shimano are notorious for being smaller than the stated size. I wear a EU 42 but have rarely bought new bike shoes, instead buying shimano "EU43" shoes from people who bought online only to discover the shoes were too small.

Agree with this. I generally take a EU41 size but after reading the reviews on the shoes, I bought flat Shimano MTB shoes in a size EU43. They are a good fit and wouldn't want them any smaller.

Yes, this is my size in Shimano shoes (I have tried the shoes on to work it out.) Not my normal size.

I find Specialized shoes to be smaller than Shimano. I take 43 in Shimano and 42 in Specialized.

Polar Keo Power Pedals $999 at Cecil Walker

http://www.cecilwalker.com.au/products/ ... edals.html

It's pretty restricted what devices these work with- bluetooth only (no ANT+)- but someone out there might be interested
