You'd hope not given they want $815 plus delivery. Though given that the brake cables are branded 'Germany Twitter' who knows? New ugly bike champion regardless...bychosis wrote:It's probably a 6spd freewhee and the rear wheel is 2kg by itselfjasonc wrote:Wow. So disc and deep. If they are 11 speed compatible.......

Just missed a BigW fatbike on Gumtree locally too. Was advertised at $150, ridden once. Already sold when I rang.

Today I saw a Preset bike still in the box at Big W. The price was marked down to $60.
My current bike is a Subway bike (Repco) which I bought new for $50 plus $10 delivery four years ago. This bike has worked well, except for a broken pedal.
I find gears to be a nuisance, so I will return to Big W tomorrow to see if the Preset is still available.

And seems like they may have upgraded the bike with some "Zipp 808???" as well...though I am not sure where they sourced the 808s so that would take thread-on freewheels...

Looks like they are sold by this mob:

Given the amount of maintenance my road bike needs i might be better off trading it in on a Torrent .

Well, theres your problem. You are supposed to ride them out of the shop, and then leave them where they stop (or meet an obstacle)ldrcycles wrote:one of the heaviest bikes i've ever picked up!
