Might need to do a bit more tuning in the oven, but wow.....
Keen to hear more on your Riots, my A3's need replacing (the heel has worn through) and was thinking of getting the Riots, I actually think they are one of the better looking of their line.
Having come from wearing all black shoes, I looked down at my feet on the trainer and thought, "Wow they look snazzy"
Put them through another moulding process and they're feeling great.

The Riots have no 'bumpers' on the front too, be careful not to stub them on your pedals and tear the microfiber.

What's that mean in English?

I tried my sizing through the Bont website where you measure your foot and put the measurements in the calculator.

Came back "Please contact Bont at bontcycling@bont.com for assistance." ???

Received in 3 days from Evans and they feel like they fit AOK.
I was a bit worried that their sizing instructions would not be right and had also read some negative reports about their shipping times, but I must have got lucky.
Head home tonight and will shove them in the oven to get the moulding process underway.

Did not get the discount as I needed to have bought to clothing items to qualify for this anyway.

Did you go withe their recommended sizing?

For me it was way off and in the end actually went with my normal size.

Used their sizing instructions from their website and all seems AOK.

Strange, on my 3rd pair of Bonts (A3/A1/Riots) now, and have always stuck to my normal sizing. I wonder if their sizing tables changed?

I am not sure what "normal" sizing means any more.
I am a different European size in Specialized, Bont and Gaerne (45) to what I am in Sidi and other brands (46).
I seem to have more room in the Bont's toe box than I do in other brands and I am expecting the leather to stretch too (these are the leather model).

Just ordered some Wide Vaypor + from Velodrome shop in the Uk. RRP minus Vat so nothing special money wise (although still cheaper then buying locally :? ). Confirmed stock status before ordering so hopefully should be here sometime next week. Only place I could find that stock wide sizes.

Got my Vaypor+ today. Pretty good fit straight out of the bag especially given my wide feet. Atop mechanisms are ok. Not quite as good as BOA but i'm sure i'll get use to them.

Pitty i also have a cracked rib so no testing them for 3weeks :(

They finally arrived about 1.5 weeks ago and I arranged to go down today to pick them up from Crank n Cycles. Great bike shop run buy a great bloke. He opens up the bag and go uhmmm I ordered black
Checks and sure enough bont have screwed up.
Anyhow try them on, what wiggle room do my toes have.... Barely any.
Got my deposit back and now was there someone else with a similar size foot with similar arch that did a Bont Vaypor plus in white custom order....
Think I'm done with Bont now

Thread necro time.

Looking at some new shows to replace the 7 year old Sidi 5 Pro's.

Looking at the Bont's, and Merlin have the Vaypor's at $222 and the Vaypor + at $329

Given a couple of years have elapsed, what's the feedback ?

I still haven't done anything with them yet i.e heat mould them.
I bought a pair Sidi Wires at the same time which fit great out of the box.

Let me know if you are interested.
Cheers Rod.
