Have bought stuff in-store (North Sydney), staff have been friendly and helpful. Got my Shimano shoes heat-moulded there (even though I bought them elsewhere) - no problem.
Had to return a vest and some shoes on two separate occasions (didn't fit) - no problems at all, full refund.
Quick delivery. Slowest took 3 days, most have been next day (to Sydney).

Don't mean to be rude...but is that the old fat(ish) guy?DaveQB wrote:Rocky?Sparx wrote:The customer service at the north Sydney shop can be interesting if you get served by a certain person....
There is a relatively young dude there who is always helpful. One guy seems like he hates life a bit too much to be working in retail though.

That's him. Interesting is a good word. I get on with him but I understand how he can be perceived. The young guy (I've gotten his name) is very good. A lot of the staff are very helpful. Rocky is just....interesting....DG1984 wrote:Don't mean to be rude...but is that the old fat(ish) guy?DaveQB wrote: Rocky?

I've experienced that too. I think David Walch does all of their email correspondence. I haven't got an email from anyone else from them.jaseyjase wrote:Just wanted to say a big thumbsup to David who i think is one of the main (maybe only?) guy i seem to be in contact with when sending emails or having queries with online orders.

I ordered shoes from them 2 weeks ago and they arrived on my doorstep the next day (Canberra). So yes, you would've.Bentnose wrote: If I'd got them delivered straight to my door I probably would have received them quicker.

Receipt vs what I paid was different though (I paid $15 extra). Not sure what that is about

Regarding the slow delivery for the warehouse pickup, that's always a risk when you ask *any* business to do something outside their standard process.

I have nothing but good things to say about Bike Bug. They are competitively priced and deliver quickly.

Sometimes I don't spend the free delivery, so I do a pickup at North Sydney.
Always been good, no issues even with returning a jersey that was on sale, but didn't fit (labelled XXL, but was more like L or small XL).
Happy to buy from them again.
