Yet another first time poster in this thread. Something smells. Disguised spam is still spam.

It's been a few months. Any long term forum members bought a set?

Thanks, that would be nice given the dubiety expressed over the previous testimonials.

I have had a set since late 2013. Pulled the trigger not long after my earlier posts on this forum. Can't fault the service. Had a few issues with the breaking spokes on the rear. After a few breakages the rear wheel was sent back, re-laced and returned. No trouble with the broken spokes thereafter.

A few months back I noticed a slight bulge in the rim near the valve hole. Back in touch with Caden, returned the wheel and was replaced with a new rim. Happy days again.

Since then, I have had no issues on these wheels. I've used them for training, racing and commuting.

They are doing a different rim nowadays to when I first bought my set. Would I buy again? Would be happy to buy again. Though it would be more convenient if I went through a local wheel builder.

See my OP Feb 15---have since done about 3000K on them and they have been excellent--mainly on good roads but had one memorable pothole--no damage.
I have fitted 25mm rubber now ( Schwalbe one) and the ride is very smooth
Had a minor issue with play in front hub ( not bearings )--I found the owner Ben to be most helpful and he sent me a new part to fix it.
Hubs still spin smoothly and wheels have not required trueing in this time
Overall very happy with these wheels and would buy them again.

A lot of my friends on the Transitions triathlon forum have them and they all speak very highly of them.
I do not own a pair, but from what I can see, and what I have heard, they are great wheels ... probably the best bang for buck carbon wheels on the market. My son has been given a nice pair of Enves, but if I had to buy a pair of carbon wheels, I would buy the Caydens.

I get around the cycling racing traps as most people know, and Im a BNA forum regular.
I have nothing to do with Cayden, Im just being honest.
:D :D

I 'm still happy with my wheels from Caden. Had them since late 2013 and they're still running well. Have used them for racing, training and commuting, over rough tarmac on flat and hilly courses. They've handled whatever I can throw at them.

I've got a set too and am very happy with them.

The brake pads squeal but that may be my installation rather than the pads themselves.

Could also be the brake track coating; My Gravity Zero (Gigantex) rims which have a basalt ceramic brake track layer are prone to squeal.
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.

I've been running a pair of the 38mm Cadens for about 12 months, use them for just about everything, and love them.
Squealed at first and then had the brakes adjusted by my lbs and they've been more or less quiet since.
Great wheels.
