Hey
Looking to get an entry level road bike for commuting, with a view to doing some more proper road-biking etc in the future (perhaps).
Am looking at the sub $900 (AUD) range and so far have come up with the Cell Lapa 2.0 or the Apollo Volare.
Has anyone got any recommendations/suggestions between these two?
Any help would be much appreciated!
Cheers!
Cell Lapa 2.0 v Apollo Volare

I would usually say "have you had a look at the Reid Falco Elite for $830 odd", but after looking at this thread/article, I'd say just maybe the Lapa!

But really, you need to get fit and ride them both to get a real idea what works for you.
Good luck.

Ps I'd avoid the Apollo Volare if its the 8 speed Claris version. But on paper the Lapa 2.0 looks good on special for $899 and reading the above review.

Yeah, the Lapa looks like a real good poackage, and gets a decent review too, definitely worth a look. Nice looking bike too.
Avoid the Apollo, anything is better

Awesome!
Thanks very much for the feedback - the LAPA seems to be getting consistently better reviews from what I've read online/ heard offline.
Cheers guys!
