Circumstances changed re the weight using brass nipples and base Sapim spokes so weight is around 1600 but I wanted a heavier duty training wheel/commuting wheel. The rear has been great after some initial issues with unwinding spokes (poor stress relief I have been advised), hoping to pick up the front tomorrow.marckietan wrote:hi mate, I am looking at a similar build. how did you go? I am now looking at a 40-50mm carbon rim to go on the Novatec hubs I also just got- these will be for occasional flat fast rides
