Hi All,
I'm looking at buying my first road bike so need some help sorting out three bikes, the BMC's have the same frameset with different components (and sellers asking for different prices). As a beginner, I have looked for designs that will really make want to pick up the bike and ride it and both frames seem to do it for me, I just dont know enough about the components and their differences to justify their prices. I will list the specs below with their beginning auction prices or asking price. BMC # 1 (below) has been re-listed three times, makes me wonder if it's not desirable? Any help/opinions would be appreciated, many thanks in advance.

Personally I'd go bmc#1.
For me whilst #2 has some great components there are too many items id want to swap out. The seat. The cassette is a small one, not very climb ng friendly.
The cervelo...well it's on scumtree.....I won't even go to that website let alone consider buying anything off it.

Well one is a standard crank and the other is a compact - how are your climbing legs?
Cassette an be changed out easily and cheaply.

Climbing legs are...non-existant at the moment (road bike level-newbie; will look at buying a new cassette).
In terms of prices, are they reasonable? bmc#1 has now dropped to $600. Is bmc#2 worth the extra $300 for the components?
- have ruled out the cervelo

i'd personally go for BMC #1 as well. even if you wanted shimano, you could sell the sram groupset and but shimano for cheaper than the the price of the other two.
