2nd hand TT bike?

Postby Jace » Thu Aug 28, 2014 2:36 pm

Hey everyone, I was thinking i'd like to add a TT bike to my stable but don't want to spend much on it since it would really just be a sometimes bike. The other option would be adding clip on aero bars to my roadie but not sure thats going to be quite the same and depending how cheap I can find something 2nd hand possibly not saving me a fortune

Came across a BMC TT02 (guessing 5-6 years old?) running 105 group and 3T aerobars going in the $400s. Good deal?

Thanks everyone!

Just TT for free, forearms on top of bars, its easier than you think. :D

Any decent, complete bike for $400 is probably a pretty good deal. Sounds solid value to me based on the very limited detail.

Getting a cheap bike for TT is what I did, it allows me to keep my position set up properly all year and ready to go - even though I only ride on it a handful of times including 3 or 4 proper TT's.

I've done a 90km TT in that position, not as easy as you think
