Ive been watching that this week as well. Does look good but always a bit nervous when people put things like 'only ridden 500km in the last year' sought of thing. To me this can sometimes read thrashed 5000km in the last six months as a cx but thats me being skeptical. The chain does look very filthy and says to me the bike has down a few ks and never been maintained.

For what its worth I'd still go the Falco Sport. Not sure if they have changed in the last couple of years but Hasa frames use to be like boat anchors.

Total dry weight of that bike is 9.5kg. You would be bard pressed to find any entry level ally roadee for significantly less than that.
The bike went for 250 in the end. Pretty fair price imo. Your comment a b out a boat anchor could still be relevent as yoh can get some pretty lightweight anchors for hobies these days

Yeah thats reasonable weight for an entry level. They must of improved their frames from a few years ago (or just started using the bulk factory taiwanese/chinese ones.

didn't miss anything special there. $20 bike pump, $10 Bottle cage and a $20 speedo = $50 accessories. Save your $$ up and buy something nicer. Bike sales come and go too.

All these Reid freebies + the helmet still available online, so you should still be able to get it, show them the offer online and ask them to match it. I bought that air pump for only $5, so its not really an expensive item. I have also few sets of LED lights free from them as well.

I see that bike went for 250 so Whos to say you would have gotton the latter at 250. As with auctions if 2 parties are interested it tends to drive up the price.alchemist wrote:I have the DT Swiss adaptor, works very nicely and looks clean
