So Pushys were having a "carpark sale" so I wandered in just to check it out, not that I really needed anything, but you know, if the price was right I might suddenly have a need for "it", whatever "it" might be. Found a set of arm warmers that fitted me for $20 and was just about to go and pay for them and thought I'd have a look at some other stuff in the far corner of the store. I happened to walk past some 29er Giant MTBs. Oooh, that's a nice colour scheme, matches my roadie perfectly, and look, reduced $600. Hmmm...must resist. Texted a friend thinking she would talk me out of it but she comes back with "you only live once"...so I bought it!
For reference, here's a pic of my roadie (one of them...)
Is it N+1 if new bike is MTB and others are roadies?

Convenient that the racks were already on your bus...
Nice score, XTCs be awesome hardtails.

Of course it's still N+1, the N part of the formula referring to the number of bikes you need. Best if that's something different to what you already have, complements the set nicely. Enjoy.
I had a thought, but it got run over as it crossed my mind.
